SP #6: Unit K: Concept 10: Finding Partial Sums of Arithmetic Series

This is my student problem number six and it shows how to find partial sums of arithmetic series. One thing to always remember is to make the arithmetic series you have to separate the numbers so that they turn into a series. Also, remember to plug everything into your calculator the right way so that you won't get the wrong answer. I hope you enjoy the problem and make sure to check your answers. Thank you.

SP #5: Unit J:Concept 6: Repeating Factors in Fraction Decomposition

This is my student problem number six, it will show you how to deal with repeating factors. It is very easy and is the same as the last concept,number 5. In the beginning you must separate using the A B C. There are two (x-3) so you separate it,C. Then you multiply by common denominator. Remember to multiply the numerator too.
When you are done multiplying the numerator then you must combine like terms. Then separate the different terms so that you get the x^2,x, and numbers in different lines. Then cross off the x's ALL OF THEM. Multiply the first line by 6 so you can cross off the second line also. You will notice for A that you will get 12 and B zero. Then you just plug those numbers in to the last line. Thank you for trying my problem and good luck.

SP#4: Unit J: Concept 5: Partial fraction decomposition with distinct factors

This is my student problem number four, I will show you how to decompose partial fractions. Make sure to try the problem first before looking at the answer. It is a long process but in the end you should get a right answer to check make sure to look at your calculator and use rref. Good luck and thank you for trying.

SP #3 Unit I Concept 1 Graphing Exponential Functions

This is my Student problem number three and this will show how to graph the given equation and to find the different parts like the domain, asymptote, x-intercept, key points, y-intercept and the range. For this problem you will notice that the x-intercept is undefined which means there is none. You can tell that there is no x-intercept because first of all when you try to solve it wouldn't work, second of all the asymptote shows that the line doesn't touch x on the graph.
The domain will always be the same, but the range you get from looking at your asymptote so pay attention. Make sure to label your a,b,h, and k. Once you do this it will be easier for you to answer all parts of the question. Good luck and remember to try it first before and then look at the answers.

SP #2: Unit E Concept 7 Graphing a polynomial and identifying all key parts

This is the Student Problem #2. This question has to do with graphing polynomials and finding their point of declination and inclination. To help you out, there are going to be four zeros. You can determine this by the degree of the first x in the equation, you can also determine the end behavior of the graph. Look at the degree and leading coefficient.

For this problem make sure you know how to factor and find the zeros and use multiplicities. In the end your graph and work should look like mine. Good luck and try your best

SP#1: Unit E: Concept 1: Identifying X-Intercepts, Identifying Y-Intercepts, Vertex (max and min), axis of quadratics and graphing them, Quadratics in standard form



This picture shows how to find the different parts of a quadratic function using standard form, and then having to graph them. This picture demonstrates how to find the parent function equation, vertex, y-intercept, the axis of symmetry, and the x-intercepts.

Notice that in the graph the quadratic is facing upwards, this is because the a value is positive, if the a value were to be negative then the quadratic would be facing downward. Use (h,k) to find the vertex of the quadratic. When you find the X-intercepts make sure to plug them into your calculator. Have Fun!:)
