When you are done multiplying the numerator then you must combine like terms. Then separate the different terms so that you get the x^2,x, and numbers in different lines. Then cross off the x's ALL OF THEM. Multiply the first line by 6 so you can cross off the second line also. You will notice for A that you will get 12 and B zero.
